Where Did Comedians in Kelowna Come From?

One day between Improv class and Standup class, I was struck by a vivid imagination of a fun game that I instantly wanted to play with the fabulous local comedians I was meeting.

It was so detailed and clear and longed for that I was surprised. My next thought was, "Naw. It's only worth it if I can film it. Forget it."

That thought couldn't have been more bizarre. I didn't even take pictures on my phone, let alone know ANYTHING about filmmaking. It was not my world. It was not even adjacent to my world. 

A month later I heard about a grant with TELUS Storyhive: training for new (no experience necessary) filmmakers on local topics. I began to think, hey, maybe I could apply with this idea I have? 

We got the grant and 45 different people worked together to bring this show to life! What a blast! The best part was undoubtedly the intermingling of comedians on an adventure! So many laughs! And so many new possibilities opening up!

What an AMAZING assortment of fabulous local comedians Kelowna has! Wow! And when they are together? Even better!
